Thanksgiving 2007

What a day! Well, I managed to get all of the cooking done and in plenty of time for our guest to arrive. This is only the 2nd time that I prepared a turkey. It turned out ok I guess. I didn't eat any of it LOL.

The day went along smoothly and thanks to TA we heard a wonderful message from the Lord about thankfulness and that if we have nothing else to be thankful for, we can be thankful that God sent His one and only Son to this earth to die for our sins. Now that's SOMETHING to be thankful for.

What an Accomplishment!!!!

I attended an awards ceremony last Thursday for Gabrielle. She received the Principals Award for Honor Roll having achieved Straight A's for the first quarter in 3rd grade. This is her first report card with letter grades. What an accomplishment!

She also received the Computer Award (only 2 received in 3rd grade) and an award for Personal Responsibility. Way to Go kiddo, we are so very proud of you. Keep up the good work.

Moving on up!

Dominic and Hunter tested last Saturday and the received their Green Belts in Tae Kwan Do. What an accomplishment after having been out of class for several months. Way to go boys we are proud of you.

Red Stipe

On Tuesday, both Dominic and Hunter received their red strip in Tae Kwan Do. They were very surprised because they have been in and out of the class over the past few months. They should be testing for their green belt in a few weeks. Congratulations boys we are proud of you.

Gabrielle

Yesterday, Gabrielle received her first report card "with letters". She received all straight A's and is on the Principals Honors List.

We are so very proud of her. She works hard and is doing 4th and 5th grade work as a 3rd grader. Keep up the good work!

Cute little words

Hope has really come out of her shell. She comes up with the craziest. Her new word this week is mommy can I have some hanitizer? (hand sanitizer) She is a trip.

Today, I popped in the DVD from when we were in China (2 1/2 years ago). I can hardly believe that it's been that long. We have been waiting now 7 months for Amelia. As long as the wait seems, we will be going to get her soon.
